Welcome to another [somewhat bi-weekly or so] update of the latest albums that have hit my rotations. Just a quick reminder that this is not just a blatant dump of all the music that has been released in the last couple of weeks, but rather a hand-curated selection of top choices worthy of your attention, which I haven’t had the chance to cover in more detail. In fact, some of these may end up on my Best of the Year lists, whether I give them a proper writeup or not. Okay, enough with the disclaimer, right? Lots of good stuff out there these days, but I’ll purposely limit it just to my favourite eight.
