Who can deny that 1967 was one of the pivotal moments of the evolution of music? This the year of psychedelic rock, of Sgt. Pepper‘s, Summer of Love, and the Monterey Pop Festival! Most likely a favourite year of the music from the 60s, which is only possibly equal to its follow-up (see next list of 1968). These are my favourite selections from the many albums I’ve heard, courtesy of “1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die” book, which I’ve been slowly going through, listening to everything in chronological order, and of course, taking notes along the way. I’ll admit, I’m not a fan of everything listed, but the following top 10 definitely ended up taking the precious space on my vinyl shelves! Hope you agree!
