And we’re in December now, folks! A lot to reflect on. Especially “time”. I started this particular column two years ago because I simply couldn’t keep up with writing about all this beautiful music. It is all worthy of your attention, and I listened to it all, but to cover each album in detail would require about three to four hours per entry. That is because I spend share a lot of time with the music, playing it on repeat for hours [and sometimes days], gathering my thoughts, revisiting the composer’s earlier works, doing some research, and only then sitting down and writing these words. So in this OUT TODAY column, I drop miniature phrases (Twitter style, may it rest in peace) in hopes that one catches your ear. This seems to be working, as you, folks, tend to swarm here and check out the gems. Perhaps even you don’t have the time to absorb all these words, so smaller is better? I don’t know. You tell me!
