Solo Collective is a new ensemble comprised of Alex Stolze on the violin (member of Dictaphone), Anne Müller on the cello (the very same Müller who worked with Nils Frahm), and the British pianist, Sebastian Reynolds (member of The War On Drugs). Dropping some of these names should get you a bit excited, right? And rightly so. “Conceptually, the trio present themselves as a rotating cast of three soloists who take turns in the spotlight, with the other two providing supporting roles.” This fall the group released their first album, mysteriously titled Part One, on Stolze’s own Nonostar Records. We’ll let you explore this beautiful piece of chamber and modern classical music all on your own, but for now, to get you excited, here’s a video premiere of “Solo? Repeat!” performed live!
